The Volvo Ocean Race is on it´s way, leg 3 coming to and end. How come I wait until the end of leg 3 to write something about it? Easy.
I think this have been the most exciting leg ever in this version of the event (it used to be the Whithbread Round the World Race, different times). After 1,950 nautical miles, the top 4 boats finished within an hour. Freaking amazing.
This year, we've been able to witness an improvement on the boat's reliability, with only one major failure (keel rams again). Seems like lessons were learned after all.
This leg honors went to one of the Spanish teams, Telefonica Blue, my personal favorite. Olé.
