America's Cup

In a nail bitting race, Alinghi retained the America's Cup. Lead changes were the norm, and a photo finish end, Alinghi managed to squeeze a 1 second win over NZ...

But the turning point of the event was the penalty that Alinghi forced out of NZ. Match racing tactics are completely different from those in fleet racing. And with on the water umpires, very close to the action is hard to claim different....

Well, the Cup stays in Europe, coutdown for 2009 have started. Let's see if I can make it to Valencia then....
